Disco – 14 month old female Cross-Breed

Disco is a attractive, medium sized young girl with a short, smooth, fox brown coloured coat
This nice girl was born in Spain and was adopted in February this year to a family in SE London. Disco is a charming and sweet dog who has settled well into UK living. However living in busy London does not suit her at all and she is quite stressed when being walked outside because of the traffic and the liveliness of the city. Once she gets to the park she blossoms and loves to meet the other dogs. Poor girl isn’t happy outside of her home so for that reason her owners are looking to rehome her. We are looking for a home in a more rural environment with another dog for company.

Disco has never growled, snarled or bitten to our knowledge. She is incredibly well-socialised to other dogs. She has a fantastic disposition, polite to other dogs and approaching from the side, very interested to interact, pleased and calm to greet them, invites play and invites a run-around. Walks very well with other dogs several times a week. Submissive when other dogs have shown aggression. With cats she will show respect and give a cat distance but would like to make friends.

Disco can be nervous of strangers and when she first meets you. She walks well on her lead and she is housetrained. She’s an absolute sweetheart of a dog, with so many incredible character traits that make her very easy to care for and fall in love with. She seems to be very intelligent and picks up training easily, and is enjoyable to train and play with. She is very pleasant in the house and never begs for food and almost never barks. She likes playing tug, and she loves chewing up old teddy bears into a 1000 pieces. She is calm and affectionate and asks for lots of tummy rubs. She knows a few tricks already and loves to ‘shake’ her paw.

She doesn’t bother the cat and they peacefully coexist. She is crate trained and often takes herself into the crate for a lie-down. She is excellent with dog company and clearly desires it so much, she really lights up around other dogs. She’s a fast runner and deserves lots of outdoors time where she can zoom around playing with other dogs. We think her fearfulness may be a long-term personality trait but that being around an alpha/confident dog, and being away from the city will ease her stress levels a lot and make her so happy.

Current location us in a foster home in SE London soon moving to Solihull West Midlands.
