Blacky is about 1 year old, medium size mix breed boy saved from the streets of rural Hungary. He wasn’t microchipped and nobody ever looked for him… He spent over a months at the pound and now lives in foster care with another male dog. Blacky is a little shy and timid at first but he is very friendly with everyone and he soon becomes a real cuddly boy who is hard to resist! He is very sweet natured and not a difficult dog at all.
He is very friendly and sociable with other dogs too, males and females alike. He is very playful and likes a doggies company. He is currently being kept outside in a large garden with another male dog and he is only let into the house occasionally. He is clean in the house for short periods but he will probably need some house training once rehomed. He has not shown any interest in cats when tested but we’re unsure whether he’s ever lived with them.He walks nicely on the lead and travels well in the car.
Blacky would be best suited with a family without or with children over 10 where he is not left alone for long periods of time and can spend precious time with his family. He needs a calm, peaceful environment and loads of love and attention to gain his confidence. He could live with a friendly dog as he likes a doggies company, but he would equally be happy living with his humans to care for him only.
Blacky is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family is found for him. He comes fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork. Adoption is subject to Home Check and Adoption fee.
