Meet adoptable deaf dog Jane who is looking for a loving home with someone who will cherish her, continue teaching her new signs and is committed to always keeping her safe.
From her rescue:
This beautiful girl is Jane. She has the biggest smile and the sweetest personality. Jane is 2-3 years old and good with male dogs, she is selective with female dogs. She is crate trained and house trained. We recommend Jane to be in a home without young children.
Furthermore, Jane needs a home with someone who is willing to take time to work with her to learn signs and signals to communicate, because our sweet baby Jane was born deaf. You can communicate with Jane and she is ready to listen, but you have to go about a different way to “talk” to her. Jane focuses on your face and your expressions and can sense your moods. She is eager to learn sign language if someone is willing to take the time to teach her. You can motion her to go outside or point to inside her crate and she will go in.
