Bosco is a 2 year old male English Pointer. What a stunning lad this Bosco is! Bosco has a short, soft black and white coat and he is an active, affectionate and sociable boy looking for his forever family! He is medium size standing at 61 cm. Bosco very sociable with people and dogs. He can live with children. He is not shy or wary at all, he loves going to people to ask for a head rub. He was taken to spend the day in a home with cats but he got too nervous around them. We don’t know if he was scared or if it was his prey drive, but we think he’s not compatible with cats.
Bosco is active, playful and likes interacting with other dogs. He doesn’t seem to be used to walking on a lead and is very excited to get out for a walk and pulls, but there’s been improvement since the first day. He’s been left alone for a short time, he waits patiently and doesn’t seem to have any separation anxiety. He is very food driven and will attempt to wolf down any food left unattended! He’s discovered what a sofa is and it seems to be his new favourite thing in the world.
Bosco is now house-trained, it took a week or so to teach him and now he doesn’t pee at home anymore. Despite being young and active, he also loves being calm at home, napping on the sofa and getting cuddles. Bosco is sociable, affectionate and he has a loving temperament.
Foster Report : He’s a loving boy, it’s obvious he had never been inside a home and he has adapted very well. He needs exercise and long walks daily, just as much as needs cuddles, tennis balls and treats! His only issue is that he pulls on the lead, as he’s not used to walking on a lead. He can get nervous sometimes, but the stability of a forever home will no doubt help him to calm down more. His obedience could also improve, obeying commands is a novelty for him and he needs training on that. Current location is in Spain can travel to the UK once he has a home to go to.

They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough. Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
