Meet lovely Molly, a mature large tiger brindle lass with a black masked face and gorgeous hazel eyes. There is no more affectionate dog than Molly! Molly has a great, calm energy. She loves being next to someone more than anything and she can never have enough cuddles. She will ask you for a head rub as soon as she meets you. Despite her terrible past, she is not shy, fearful or wary at all.
Molly is sociable and playful with all dogs, but needs a proper introduction because she was caged alone for many years, so her chances to socialize with dogs were zero. She is very affectionate with every person she meets and she loves children, she is so happy to be around them! She is even calmer around children. She is not compatible with cats. She is home-trained and calm at home, but she doesn’t like to be alone for too long, as she suffers from some separation anxiety. Poor girl feels she is being abandoned again and she gets very stressed. She needs a family that will keep her company as much as possible and maybe crate training, if she has be to left alone for a short period.
Molly is very good-natured, very loving and very, very affectionate. She is a calm girl who is now enjoying every minute of freedom and would love to have a family to love. She has a loyal and devoted nature to the people she loves. Molly walks very well on a lead, she can be let off lead once she knows the person, her recall is good. She has a medium level of energy, she’s usually calm but she loves going for a run in the park and playing with other dogs. She has a very obedient and loyal nature, she just wants to be close to someone to love and be loved.
Foster Report: Her progress has been amazing. She’s now a very calm girl at home and it’s a pleasure to take her out for a walk, she doesn’t wander away and is always paying attention to me, ready to come if I call her or just look at her. She is one of the most trustful and affectionate dogs I’ve fostered, she only needs someone to love to be happy. Current location is in Spain can travel to the UK once she has a home to go to.
Adoption Fee : £265– to be paid direct to the Spanish rescue to cover travel costs via UK bank account. Adopting A DogWatch UK Rescue Dog: Before being adopted, dogs will have bee vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas. If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young the new owners will need to ensure this is done. All dogs are microchipped. All new owners can apply for 4 weeks Pet Insurance FREE, to be activated from the link on our website.
For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas: This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including – microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK. We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough. Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
