Nutmeg – 6 year old female Pug Cross

Nutmeg is a 6-year old female Pug Cross, an ex-puppy farm breeding dog who is being fostered in Worcestershire. She has only recently finished weaning her latest and last litter. She is adapting slowly but steadily to being a family pet and is ready for the next stage of her journey. Nutmeg is happy around adults as long as she isn’t being restrained. She can be touched and she enjoys a fuss and being brushed. She will bark when frightened but has never shown any sign of aggression.

Nutmeg is great when meeting other dogs when she is out and about but she is not so keen to have other dogs in her home space. For this reason we will be rehoming Nutmeg as an only dog. Not cat tested. Nutmeg can be left 2 to 3 hours on a regular basis but has been left 3 to 4 hours on occasion with no problems. Her housetraining is a work in progress.

Nutmeg is not keen on her lead or harness so this is a work in progress. Ongoing training will be required in this area. Nutmeg needs a home with a family who are happy to accept her little idiosyncrasies and work with her to become a happy, confident pet.

Please remember, if you have a dog and it is not neutered, it is against our policies to re-home a dog with you.

Nutmeg is chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Nutmeg has not been neutered so it is a condition of adoption that her adopters arrange to have her neutered as soon as possible. A discount voucher is available and follow up checks will be done. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in Worcestershire.

If you are interested in adopting Nutmeg please read about our rehoming process and complete a Pre-Adoption form ( link here ) and one of our adoption coordinators will contact you for a chat.
