Sasha – 10 year old female German Shepherd Cross

Sasha is a German Shepherd cross, her passport states her to be ten this year but I think she’s closer to five or six at most. Sasha has had a difficult life and had never trusted a human or allowed one to touch her before coming to us. It’s been a long road and taken over a year but she’s now ready to move in and find an understanding home of her own. Sasha is fostered in Norfolk (FR007).

Sasha is a happy and playful dog but she still struggles to understand the concept of being stroked by humans. It isn’t so much that she fears it now but she just doesn’t understand why it’s necessary. It is hoped that in a more one to one environment in closer contact with humans she may one day learn to enjoy human affection but we may need to find someone who enjoys her company and making her happy and isn’t concerned that sopiness isn’t her thing!

Sasha gets on well with other dogs and would need at least one other dog in her new home. She adores her walks and behaves well on and off lead.
