Bryan – 4 year old male Spaniel Cross

Bryan is a 4 year old male Spaniel Cross. Bryan was rescued in Cyprus and has flown to the to be safe and find his dream home. Bryan is currently living in Leicester and is looking for a new home due to a change in his current family’s circumstances. Here is a little about him. Bryan is a medium size boy, weighing around 18 kg. He is a very loving boy, playful and energetic but also loves his sleep. He is okay on the lead but will pull to sniff when there is something he is interested in. Bryan loves water too. He prefers to be off lead as likes to explore, his recall is improving- long as you have treats. His current treats are carrots and frozen apple slices as he is on a diet! His photos show how good he is looking.

Bryan is great when fed and will sit and wait until you tell him to eat. However, he has issues around human food, as human food is simply too tasty and so he can be reactive when it is around. He is generally good with other dogs but can be dominant. He is good with people in the home but can be overpowering with guests- his current home has been training and using nutracalm for this. He is fully house-trained.

He can be nervous about going outside and sometimes needs treats to encourage him to go out. He is used to being left to roam free in the house and is not happy to use a crate. He sleeps through the night but likes to sleep in your room. He has been trained not go on the furniture or beds as he can be overbearing if allowed to do so. He can be left on his own for longer periods so long as he is left with something like a kong for an initial distraction.

Bryan follows simple commands sit, paw, other paw, lay down and knows to wait for this food and stay out of the kitchen when his family are cooking. Bryan is looking for a quiet home with no small children and preferably as an only pet where his family can give him lots of attention and continue to train him.

Bryan loves his walks. His dream would be a home where he would get long walks and have a close human companion to enjoy these long walks with. Bryan would also love his own garden to play and relax in and perhaps see off the odd squirrel or two.

If you can give Bryan a comfy, safe and secure home so that he can continue to enjoy the life he dreams of, please contact us. He has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Minimum adoption donation £300. ADOPTION IS SUBJECT TO HOME CHECK. Full post adoption support is available from our charity.
