Twist is a 5-6 year old large size male Cross-Breed has had a tough life up until now. He was the boy whose ear was almost ripped off in the shelter and although he received antibiotics at the time it was left so he had to have surgery when he arrived here.
He was then found to have a sticker tumour. This is a very common tumour found in street dogs and is caused by a virus. It is easily treated and responds well to chemotherapy and he has now been pronounced all clear. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped .
Twist bonds quickly and very closely with his carer but can be mistrustful of strangers and is scared of children. He gets on really well with other dogs, and would ideally like a home with another dog who he can have a play with. He is housetrained and absolutely loves long country walks. Twists ideal home would be with a single person or a couple who want a great companion dog and who don’t have too many visitors.
