Thia – 18 month old female Chihuahua cross Jack Russell Terrier

Thia is fostered in Erdington, Birmingham. She is an 18 month old female Chihuahua cross Jack Russell Terrier. Thia has been taken into our care recently from a public shelter in Romania. It is always bewildering to imagine how on earth a dog as tiny and fragile as this lasts even one moment in the harsh conditions of the shelter but in reality it is probably purely by remaining hidden. Thia has a personality as fragile as her dainty little body, she is timid and shy and reluctant to experience new things because she’s too afraid. She is mixing well with other dogs of all sizes in her foster home however and when food is around she’s more than willing to compete to get to it!

Thia put up an almighty protest against lead training but perseverance in her foster home is paying off and she is learning that actually the outside world can be kind of fun! This tiny little tot really needs quite a calm home environment as it’s not easy living in a world of giants. She is a sweet and quizzical little girl once she gets to know people but adopters should expect it to take a few days to earn her trust as she’s clearly not had it easy and needs to see she is meant no harm over time.

Thia would currently need a home with no children under the age of twelve. She can live with other dogs but they would need to not be too boisterous around her. Our adoption fee is £250, they are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered (unless the dog is too young to be neutered). If you are interested please message or call between 9am and 6pm
