Boróka is an 8 month old medium size (45 cm and 14 kg) female Cross-Breed who was found in rural Hungary and was taken over from a dog pound. She’s spent the past two months in a crowded shelter. We hope to find a home for her as soon as possible so she does not have to spend all her puppyhood in rescue instead of learning all she needs to know to become a healthy and happy adult dog in a loving family.
She is an active, lively puppy, very playful with dogs and humans alike. She has this lovely, slightly scruffy look with a white patch on the chest and a really nice, freindly temperament. She is cuddly, affectionate and likes being around people and getting their attention. She could be a great choice for almost any families. Boróka is very friendly and sociable with the other dogs, playful and kind to everyone. She deserves much more than having to live in a kennel and share the love of the shelter staff with the other 150 dogs.
She has been tested with cats and she passed the test. She also travelled nicely in the car in a crate. She walks ok on the lead but is not being walked regularly. Boróka would be best suited for a family without or with children over 10 who are ready to show her the world outside the shelter and will not leave her alone for long periods. She would be happiest with a family that take her on nice walks and include her in their activities. She could easily live with a doggie mate, but she would be equally happy living with her humans to care for her only.
Boróka is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family’s found for her. She comes fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork. Adoption is subject to Home Check and Adoption Fee.
