Andy is a 4 month old male Lurcher cross Greyhound. This lovely boy was found with his siblings and mum in the Spanish countryside – there mum is a very gentle Galgo their father unknown. Andy total love bug like his siblings, their mum has done a good job bringing them up as they all have such sweet natures, but probably best not to be too fooled. Lurcher/Greyhounds are the most lovely dogs but not always the best behaved puppies so not for the light hearted do not believe everything you read about them just laying on a sofa all day snoozing especially as babies much better when older.
Andy would benefit from an active home, would benefit from another dog to live and play with – or a calmer dog from him to learn off – preference will be given to Sighthound Homes who understand this lovely breed. People who have the time and understanding to put the work into him now while young.
Andy is still living with his siblings, he has got used to walking on a harness but still living in kennels he has not had the chance of knowing home living, he lives in an isolated part of Spain so lots of mountains and countryside but no traffic etc so will need introducing to all of this but he is pretty confident boy so will not take him long. Because of his friendly nature and no hang ups would suit most homes but as said before preference is given to people with experience of Sighthounds.
Andy is too young to be neutered so you will be expected to do this as part of the adoption agreement, he will be fully vaccinated, blood tested, have his own Pet Passport and be chipped. If you feel you could be the right home for Jac please email us for our questionnaire in the first instance.
