Meet adoptable deaf 3 year old boxer girl Kilo who is looking for a loving home where she is the only dog (she needs to be the center of attention) with someone who will cherish her and always keep her safe.
From her current caregiver: Kilo is a lovable 3 year old deaf boxer that thinks she’s a lap dog…..all 80 pounds of her. She was born deaf and that doesn’t hold her back; she loves it when you talk to her. She knows a variety of hand signals – sit, lay down, stay. If you twinkle your fingers she wags her tail and shakes her butt because that’s how she knows she’s a good girl.
Kilo is loved dearly by her family and she loves her humans so strongly that it has been decided that she needs to be the only dog in the home. She is comfortable around babies and enjoys older children. She hasn’t been exposed to smaller children so that’s an unknown. Kilo had a cat brother and they had to stay separate – she thought he was an interactive toy. She enjoys walks and is a good running partner. She is great on a leash, but can sometimes get excited when she sees other dogs.
Kilo has your normal Boxer energy, but she also loves lazy days. If you’re up for relaxing, she’s right there beside you snoozing for as long as you’ll let her. She’s working on her crate training and is doing well with it. Sometimes she cries in her crate because she just wants to be with you. Kilo is very smart and super loveable. She will be the most loyal dog you will ever get to call your own.
