Meet our Deaf Dogs Rock Star of The Day adoptable deaf 10 week old pibble puppy Buck who is looking for a loving home with someone who will cherish him, make positive reinforcement training/socialization a priority, and always keep him safe.
From his rescue organization: Buck is a 10 week old Pittie baby. He is a sweet boy who was surrendered to Rocket Dog Rescue along with his 3 siblings. He is the only boy out of the 4. And the only one to have demonstrated deafness.
He and his sisters were very lucky and were placed into a loving foster home right away. They are working on being more socialized with other dogs and humans as they were skittish when they first arrived. After just a few days, we have been able to learn a lot about all their personalities. That’s when we realized that Buck couldn’t hear. He didn’t react to noises like his siblings did. Would have to be touched to be woken up and got spooked by people if approached from behind or side. He LOVES it when he is approached slowly from the front and gets chin scratches along the way.
He is a complete sweetheart who will make someone a very lucky doggie parent. He watches for cues already and is a fast learner. He will most likely be a 50-65 lb Pittie when fully grown. He is mostly white with a couple specks around his rear and a pink nose with piercing, sky blue eyes.
With the right training, continued socialization and love, Buck will be the best Pittie representative he can be! Please consider Buck 🙂
