Dog Handling Tips: Floki – 1 year old male Cross-Breed

Floki is a 1 year old male Cross-Breed. Black beauty contest winner looking for a family from the bright side of life! This sweet boy, along with his sibling was simply left in front of the shelter at 6 month of age. They must have come from an unwanted litter and the owner could not find them homes an that is how they got rid of them.

Floki is about 1 year old, medium size, smaller than a Vizsla, with a beautiful shiny black coat. He has a great temperament, he’s friendly and compatible with everyone and very peaceful! He loves playing and he likes his food! He loves people and tries to be around you all the time to get some cuddles. He lives with a pack of dogs in the shelter so he is thoroughly socialized with them. He is friendly with male and female dogs, very peaceful and not aggressive at all. He’s a well balanced dog who’s been tested with cats and was friendly with them too! He walks ok on the lead but has not particularly wamed to it yet as he is not being walked regulary, so his training will need to be continued.

Floki would be best suited for a family without or with children over 10 that is ready to show him the world outside the shelter and would not leave him alone for long periods. He is quite an active boy so he would be happiest with a family that take him on lots of walks and is happy to include him in their activities! He could easily live with a doggie mate or cats in the household, but he may as well be happy living with his family to care for him only.

Floki is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family’s found for him. He comes fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork. Adoption is subject to Home Check and Adoption Fee.
