Dog Handling Tips: Max and Pepsi – 6 year old male and 4 year old female Miniature Schnauzers

Max and Pepsi – 6 year old male and 4 year old female Miniature Schnauzers. Max and Pepsi are looking for a new home together, they are adorable and would like new owners who are around for most of the day. They enjoy their walks but can pull on the lead a little. They are fine with other dogs off lead but can be a little barky on lead. Their foster mum says they are easily distracted and has been working on this with them. Both dogs travel well in the car without issue.

Both dogs love to play with their toys and have an abundance to come with them, along with their beds. They do like to be included with the family and sleep on their beds in their owners room at night, they are trained to go into their beds.

They can be reactive to noise in the home so would benefit from somewhere that they are not constantly being disturbed by cars or people passing the windows, there is a reason for this and we will discuss with prospective new owners, again foster mum is working on this with them but a quieter home would be best for them. They are both clean in the house and neither is destructive when left.

Max and Pepsi are fine to be re homed with older children who may enjoy a game with them, an active home where they will become part of the family would be wonderful for these two. We will not split them, they must be re homed as a pair. They can be re homed with other dogs following successful introductions, they are currently in foster with another dog without issue.

They have been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and are up to date with flea and worming treatment. They are currently being fostered in North Finchley London N12.
