Meet adoptable deaf 1 year old, female dog Marshmellow who is looking for a loving home with someone who is willing to make daily positive reinforcement training a priority and always keep her safe.
From her rescue: Marshmellow is a 1 year old solid white deaf pitty. She came to the shelter as a stray in November of 2018. She doesn’t do well in a kennel and has been at the shelter way too long. She has had little to no training, but with the right patient person, she can be a great dog. She gets long with other dogs and is a rough and rowdy player. She will sit for a treat and loves to get baths. Marshmellow loves people, and gets very excited to see new people, but gets very over stimulated. She isn’t aggressive, but she hasn’t had much training so she doesn’t know how to control her mouth when she gets excited and can be mouthy/nippy. She would do best in a home without small children due to her over excitability. She would do best in a home with a dog that is ok with her rough and rowdy play style.
