Beethoven- OH

Meet adoptable deaf dog Beethoven who has been patiently waiting for a forever person to adopt him, cherish him and always keep him safe.

From his rescue: Beethoven has been with us for 3 years and we have tried EVERYTHING to find his forever family, but for some reason, we haven’t had any luck.

The first thing you should know about Beethoven is, he is deaf.
Wait, don’t leave.
He IS deaf, but he knows hand signals. And, he doesn’t bark when the doorbell rings, he isn’t afraid of fireworks or thunder, and he sleeps through ANYTHING.

Beethoven is also a water lover. Bathtub, baby pool, a puddle, doesn’t matter, he will splish and splash for hours and it is hilarious to watch.

Get cold at night? Not with Beethoven. He is what we call a velcro dog. He likes to be riiiiight next to you while you sleep, keeping you warm and toasty so you can get a good nights sleep.

Beethoven is a strong, energetic boy, so a fenced yard with lots of playing is a must. He loves to play his version of fetch, which is, you throw the toy and he gets it, then runs around like he just won an olympic medal until he decides to bring it back.

Now, one more thing you need to know. Beethoven must be an only pet. He just doesn’t like to share his people.

We know a deaf dog presents challenges, but they are such wonderful family members and we are more than happy to help you with any questions or issues you may face.

We are literally begging. Please, someone, please give this boy a chance. You will not regret it. 3 years is a really long time and Beethoven deserves a loving family to call his own.
