My name is Zoya, a 3 year old female Cross-Breed. I am fully sighted, big and beautiful and I come from Bosnia. I am a clean lady and my manners are impeccable – just be quick with your fingers when giving me a treat! A lady shouldn’t really divulge her age or weight, however I’m in the 6-7 year age group and 22 -25kg in the weight section. I currently reside in a foster home which is great. I mean it’s comfortable, the garden is huge the food is fabulous, I have occasional walks, my own special bed to crash in and the old girl who’s fostering me thinks I’m just the bee’s knees. Of course I’m the bee’s knees! Nonetheless, I would dearly love to find permanent digs with some energetic folk where I can be taken for very long walks or even perhaps be allowed to trot alongside them while they’re out jogging.
My foster mum says I look quite majestic when I sprint across the back garden, sort of like a lion or a tiger in slow motion. I’ll settle for a car-ride too, just put a blanket on the back seat and you won’t hear a peep out of me. Now, about sharing digs with you and perhaps another pooch; I will take a solemn oath to behave and to protect all and sundry and when you arrive back home from wherever you’ve been I will give you singing welcome; it sounds something like ‘roowroowroor’ – I’m not joking! By the way my adopted pal, Sara has taught me to chase birds so I’m not quite sure how I’d be with moggies. Please, oh please let foster mum hear from you soon. Love, Zoya.
