Phoebe is a 5 year old female Pointer Cross. Phoebe is a rescue from Cyprus, currently living in our kennels in Atherstone whilst she waits for her forever family to find her. Here is a little about her. Phoebe is a tri colour pointer cross who sadly lost the sight in one eye due to a cat. She was initially rescued as a puppy then adopted by a family in Cyprus around 4 years ago.
However last year she found herself dumped again when her owner left Cyprus. Luckily this time she was rescued by our charity. Phoebe has lived in a home in Cyprus as well as over here. So she is house trained and sleeps happily through the night. She is also crate trained. She is a fabulous, beautiful girl who is calm, gentle and becoming more playful as she relaxes into her life here.
Her recall is excellent as she loves food. So her love of food is the key to bonding with her and training her. She shared a foster home with a gentle, male foster brother, when she first arrived in the UK but we think she may be happier as an only dog as she simply enjoys the company of her human and the time you spend together. She would be happy to share her new home with older children as she has not had the chance to spend much time in the company of young children.
After the incident with the cat she would not want to share her home with one or any other small furry animal. Phoebe is simply a very cuddly and very quiet girl in the home. All she wants is to be safe, happy, comfortable and loved. If you have a space on your sofa for Phoebe and time to enjoy walking with her, please contact us. She has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. The minimum adoption donation for Phoebe is £300. ADOPTION IS SUBJECT TO HOME CHECK. Full post adoption support is offered by our charity.
