Merlin is a 3 year old male Pointer Cross. Merlin is a rescue from Cyprus who has flown to the UK to help him find his forever home. He is currently living with his foster mum in Cirencester whilst he waits for his forever family to find him. Here is a little about him.
Merlin is the most loving and happy of dogs though he can be a little shy. He loves playing and going on walks and even runs. He’s an absolute sucker for attention and will come and just sit in your lap, even though he’s a little big for that! Merlin’s very good on the lead, and he never really goes more than 10 meters away on walks when he is off the lead.
He happily shares the food bowl at the same time with the other dog in his foster home. He’s fantastic with other dogs, almost happier when in their company. He’s great with all people and kids and adores the attention. He’s never encountered cats, but he is fantastic with horses, doesn’t bark and roams around them free.
Merlin sleeps well through the night. When he is left with another dog he seems to be fine. So, we feel that Merlin would like another dog in his new home to help his confidence or he would equally be happy as an only dog if you have time to spend with him.
Merlin is still learning the ropes of living in the UK and is toilet trained providing you are available to let him out when needed. Just like any other young puppy joining your family Merlin will benefit from ongoing kind handling and support to help him become the adult dog that you want him to be. Merlin is completely adorable and has the whitest teeth you have ever seen.
