Hello, my name is Lucy and I’m a Cross-Breed dog. My tail has been docked (possibly by hunters) I’m 3/4 years old and I was locked up in a horrific pound in Ourense Northern Spain. I was hoarse from barking and crying. And I was desperate to get out. The other dogs were fighting for food – very dangerous place for a lovely dog like me. One day the man in the boiler suit came to get me and I was fearing the worst. They call them kill stations and I thought my time was up. But it seems my luck has changed. Iv now got a group of people called a rescue group. They got me out and the man in the boiler suit was taking me to pound vet to get prepared for release. Just look at me now – this is my Rescue Aunty called Kate. My other Rescue Aunty is called Carolyn and my other one is called Jan, but to be honest they have a team if people helping as many dogs as they can like me.
Kate says I’m a happy caring girl. I wag my little stumpy tail all the time. I’m living with Kate and her dogs till I can travel. I’m sharing my space now with another dog called Betty. I cannot be cat tested here. Aunty Kate is a godsend. We get our food twice a day. And she spends time with us getting “lovies” I need a home with a safe and secure garden- I also like to play and I don’t want to be left alone for a long time. I also need my new family to understand I’m a rescued dog who needs tune and patience to adjust to a new life. I’m really excited as they say Britain is a nation of dog lovers. Also the grass is green and fresh and not dry and dusty.
Please if you are looking for a lovely family dog don’t overlook me. I promised I’ll be your best girl. My rescue group will have me chipped, vaccinated and neutered. I will have my passport and DEFRA import documents. In most cases I can be delivered to you.
