Harley is fostered near Norwich. He is an 11 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross. We have recently rescued Harley from a UK home after he was advertised as free to good home on Facebook. A safe rescue supporter alerted us to his plight and we called his advertiser and asked if they would allow us to take him and rehome him safely before he could be picked up by anyone ill intentioned.
We were told that Harley had been kind of dumped on the lady that had him and she didn’t have time to care for a dog and didn’t want to keep him. She believed that previous to being with her he had been in a home for eight years and we do not know where he was for his first three years. It is usually a staffys fate to be passed around from home to home in their early years so perhaps this was true for him.
Harley is a delightful old boy who is as typically friendly and affectionate as most of his breed are. Harley deserves some stability now and we don’t want him passed around any more, his next family simply just be for keeps! Harley gets on well with other dogs and loves people. He is loved by everyone he meets and deserves all the love in the world in his later life.
