Godfrey is a beautiful big 4 year old male Cross-Breed (DOB 20.5.2015) currently in foster near Glasgow. At the beginning of this year he was hit by a train and as a result now only has 3 legs (as one of his hind ones needed to be amputated as a result of his injuries). This does not bother him at all and will only continue to get better as he loses a bit of his excess weight.
Another affect of his accident is that he now suffers from seizures. We have been monitoring and adjusting his medication and now his seizures have stopped and he is much less sleepy and happy to go out on a couple of walks a day. Despite everything that has happened to him Godfrey remains a lovely dog. He is very sweet and very gentle and as the fog of drugs is lifting his personality is starting to shine through …
He has a very smiley face and a massive heart and I am sure will make someone just the best companion. He’s never going to be a hillwalker but as he does enjoy a nice steady walk, would probably suit an older couple who are used to bigger dogs but no longer have the energy involved in walking them for hours.
He is great with all other dogs but could also quite happily live alone and I think he would prefer a quieter home so perhaps one without young children running about. If you think you can give Godfrey the loving home he deserves please pop onto our website.
