Tommy is a 15 month old male Lucher. Lovely Tommy another favourite of this visit, poor Tommy and his brother were found as small puppies on the streets of Spain both were adopted by an English couple who had them for 10 months in their home in Spain but decided when they returned to UK they did not want them anymore and gave them back to the Charity! His brother was soon adopted but Tommy still waits.
Tommy is an extremely smart dog, easy to train, I would say on the high energy size and would suit more a home where he could do something like agility I think he would be fabulous at it, he is quite a confident boy, he is good with the other dogs but typical Lurcher a bit full on at times so would be best suited with like minded dogs or maybe an older calmer bitch. We would love to see this dog in an agility home with people who know their stuff as I think he has great potential, but I would say he is a cheeky chappy and will get up to mischief, so if you do not want too bright a dog who wants to be with you and busy otherwise will make up his own games in your home which could be from maybe re arranging your furniture or helping you put the food away preferably in his stomach do not apply.
Tommy is neutered, vaccinated and has his own Pet Passport, preference will go to people who have had Sighthounds before or agility people. If you feel you are the right home for Tommy please email us in the first instance for our questionnaire.
