Rita is a 6 year old female Collie Cross. We first met Rita on the streets 5 years ago. She was living by a petrol station with a group of other dogs. Sadly the dog catchers were called on these dogs, and Rita was trapped in a horrible kill shelter, where she was destined to starve to death (first photo is from the kill shelter). We were shocked to find her in the kill shelter and immediately pulled her out.
She is now safe in our kennels, but she’s finding if hard being confined in a small kennel after so many years of freedom. She loves people and other dogs, and is a calm girl. We are ideally looking for a quiet home for her, so that she can enjoy being with a family but not be taken to runs or very long walks. She is a medium girl, spayed, vaccinated and chipped.
