Dog Handling Tips: Mike – 10 year old male German Shepherd

Meet Mike, a 10 year old male German Shepherd, who’s looking for a new home after his owner sadly passed away. Mike is a lovely gentle soul, who is happy to be left for several hours at a time, knows commands (such as sit, paw and down), and walks nicely on the lead. Mike has become a favourite at kennels and the office, as he loves the company of people. He’s looking for a loving home able to show him the best years of his life.

Out and about, Mike walks nicely on the lead and knows basic commands. Mike is looking for a home with direct access to a garden, and someone who has owned or had experience with larger breeds in the past. Mike is good with other dogs when out and about, so could possibly live with a calm female dog (pending introductions), and children over the age of 12 years (no cats please).
