Dog Handling Tips: Mabrouk – 5 year old male German Shepherd

Mabrouk is a 5 year old male German Shepherd. Mabrouk is a rescue from Cyprus who has flown to the UK to help him in his search for his forever home. He is currently living with his foster family in Gateshead whilst waiting for his family to find him. Here is a little about him… Mabrouk has a typical GSD, black and tan coat. He is a large boy but a real gentle giant. He adores the company of people, gets on well with kids and other dogs too. He is a typical GSD though and is not keen on cats. Despite this one flaw he is the perfect dog. This boy has been through hell in Cyprus and yet he arrived in the UK with a wagging tail that has never stopped.

He is delighted at last to enjoy home comforts and regular walks, He has no separation problems, if good around food and is simply a terrific, gentle boy. He is currently in basic training to refocus and is doing well. He does like his crate open, so he has easy access to and from it, so if a crate is needed in his new home that is not a problem!

He walks nicely on lead. Mabrouk does have a very slight kidney problem which is maintained by a correct diet other than this he is a healthy and very happy boy. Whatever you put into loving him, you will get back tenfold! He is longing for his own family and we have no doubt he will make his forever family very happy.
