Lurch is a 1 year old large male Lurcher who is looking for an active family home. He may well be able to live with another dog in the home. He is a calm and gentle soul and really just needs lots of reassurance whilst familiarising himself with the big wide world. He does know his basic commands and will sit for a treat, but he would also benefit from further training.
Due to his breed and nature he would not be suitable in a home with cats or rabbits as he has a strong prey drive. He has previously lived with children in the home and he could go to a home with children who are familiar with dogs. He is a happy and sociable dog who would be a great family pet for someone who has the time and energy.
