Dog Handling Tips: Julia – 4 year old female Cross-Breed

Julia is a 4 year old female Cross-Breed fostered in Norfolk. This is another of the dogs from our trip, only this one we only almost met! She was living in a yard of a property whose owner had recently passed away. A rescuer had been feeding her and another dog that lived there but on the day we went to get them only the other dog would crawl under the gate to come to us and we weren’t allowed to enter the property to get her. Despite the frustration on the day the rescuer assured us she would return and find a way to get Julia too and a couple of weeks later she gave us the good news that she had her safe.

Julia is a quiet and sweet little girl who would suit a quietish home environment. She put up rather a protest about being lead trained but now walks happily on a lead and just needs to gain a little more confidence. She gets on well with other dogs but would be equally happy as an only dog. She is happy to be left home alone for reasonable periods of time and travels well in a car. Our adoption fee is £250, they are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered (unless the dog is too young to be neutered). If you are interested please message or call between 9am and 6pm.
