Jack is a 4 month old male Greyhound Cross. This lovely boy was found with his siblings and mum in the Spanish countryside – there mum is a very gentle Galgo their father unknown. Jack not meant to have favourites but he is stunning, probably the biggest in the litter, he is a very confident boy, so friendly and sweet natured but full of it. Lurcher/Greyhounds are the most lovely dogs but not always the best behaved puppies so not for the light hearted do not believe everything you read about them just laying on a sofa all day snoozing especially as babies.
Jack is going to need an active home, would benefit from another dog to live and play with – or a calmer dog from him to learn off – preference will be given to Sighthound Homes who understand this lovely breed. Jack is still living with his siblings, he has got used to walking on a harness but still living in kennels he has not had the chance of knowing home living, he lives in an isolated part of Spain so lots of mountains and countryside but no traffic etc so will need introducing to all of this but he is pretty confident boy so will not take him long. Because of his friendly nature and no hang ups would suit most homes but as said before preference is given to people with experience of Sighthounds.
Jack is too young to be neutered so you will be expected to do this as part of the adoption agreement, he will be fully vaccinated, blood tested, have his own Pet Passport and be chipped. If you feel you could be the right home for Jac please email us for our questionnaire in the first instance.
