Iris is a 5 year old female Shih Tzu. This lovely girl was given up by a family in Spain for no reason other than they did not want her anymore. She had not been properly cared for, for years. The rescue we work with in Spain was alerted to her plight by their vets and agreed to take her on. She was so mattered she had to have her coat shaved off. I met this little girl when I visited the rescue, I am a big dog sort of person but I fell in love with this sweet gentle little soul, I stayed a few days and she slept with me on the bed at night – she would just curl up and go to sleep.
I only have praise for Iris, she is a very loving little dog and bonded very quickly with me just over a few days. She just wants lots of love and cuddles and loved sitting on my lap. She would suit a retired couple or person who wants a companion dog. She would be no trouble. She needs to be allowed on the bed and sofas. She would not ask for much – just your love and companionship and this little lady would be so happy.
Iris is living with quite a few other dogs but I think she would be quite happy as an only dog if she was getting the attention – I hope we can find these special girl her special home where she will be treated like the princess she deserves. Loved her very much a special little soul.
Iris is spayed, vaccinated, blood tested and has her own Pet Passport.
