Cyril is an eight year old male Pomeranian. He arrived at Mayhew because his owners decided they no longer wanted him. Cyril hasn’t had the best start in life but has come on leaps and bounds. He is a unique boy who is full of character with a confident and feisty spirit. Out on walks he likes to do his own thing while exploring and sniffing around. Once at home he loves nothing more than to climb on a lap and lean in for cuddles.
Cyril can sometimes be grumpy around other dogs so we’d prefer to find him a home in a rural, semi-rural or low dog populated area so that he can enjoy his walks without coming into constant contact with lots of other dogs. It’s not yet known how he copes with being left alone and so is looking for a home where there is someone around during the day. He’s looking for an all adult home without visiting young children and would not be suitable to live in a flat due to his vocal nature.
Cyril has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. He has also been health checked and behaviorally assessed. His new owners will need to be fully prepared for the hard work and long term commitment involved in owning a dog, they’ll be taking on an fourteen year commitment which must not be taken lightly.
