Buddy is a 3-5 year old male Cross-Breed. Buddy was rescued from the public shelter as a tiny puppy along with over a dozen puppies we took on at the same time and they all traveled to the UK as soon as they were old enough. Buddy went straight off to his “forever” home but was returned two and a half years later. Sadly he had grown bigger than the adopters had expected him to grow and as they could not manage him on walks had not been socialised with either dogs or people (except for the dog he lived with).
Since his arrival in rescue he has been working hard to learn new rules and boundaries and is now totally different dog from the scared unsocialised one that was handed back to us. He loves people and greets everyone (even strangers) with a wagging tail and lopsided grin and like nothing better than head rubs and tummy tickles.
He has also learnt how to behave around other dogs and has come on in leaps and bounds with his doggy socialisation and is now in charge of play time here as he will play with any dog that will entertain him. He walks nicely on a lead once he’s settled down from his initial excitement, has basic commands, is clean in the house and is not destructive.
Buddy is a large medium and I’d guess his slightly overweight weight new to be about 26-28 kilos but this is 26-28 kilos of pure love. Buddy is in foster near Glasgow.
