Bobby is in North Norfolk kennels. He is a 5 year old Romanian Raven Shepherd Dog. He is a large dog and typical in character of the Romanian Shepherd breeds so anyone interested in adopting him should research the breed before calling. Our rescuer friends in Romania and Norway had their eye on Bobby’s situation for some time before they were actually able to help him.
He was living in the end of a short chain, underfed and almost bald due to an untreated skin condition. Animal welfare laws being pretty much non existent in Romania, left them powerless to help him until his owner decided himself that he no longer wanted him. Bobby arrived at the rescue shelter in a sorry state and it has taken some time to restore him to a state that rendered him adoptable.
Bobby is now in the UK and looking for a new home with people experienced with large breeds. He gets on with most other dogs but not all so would perhaps be better as an only dog or to live with a bitch. Bobby is too big and strong to live with small children. He travels well in a car and can be left at home for reasonable periods of time without issues. Our adoption fee is £250. They are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered (unless they are too young). If you are interested please message or call between 9am and 6pm
