Mila is a 4 year old female Cross-Breed. The beautiful Mila was born 1.9.2015 and up until arriving in the UK in April had lived her entire life in a private shelter in Romania Her siblings had all long since been adopted but for some reason no one wanted the plain “black dog”.
Mila was very friendly in the shelter as it was all she had ever known but the journey and transition into a home was a tough one for her. She was really shy when she first arrived but time and patience have seen her develop into a really sweet girl once more. She stayed outdoors in a kennel for over a week and had to be caught in a cage and carried into the house but since spending a week in my bedroom (with 3 cats) has now rested up and regained her confidence and she is now living freely among the other dogs and leaving and re-entering the house of her own free will.
She is still shy but you can see she is desperate to be loved and once she is in a more normal home environment I know she will once again be the happy carefree dog she was living in the shelter in Romania. Mila is medium sized and looks just like a slim lab (yes there is such a thing). She is clean in the house and will walk on a lead once you have gained her trust.
Mila is in foster near Glasgow.
