Lila is a 1 year old Retriever cross English Setter, who spent the first 10 months of her life in the pound with her sister Lily, before coming to foster in the UK. Despite not having the best start in life, she is very loving and affectionate. When she arrived she was very nervous, but she has proved to be very intelligent and learns things really quickly and is much more like a Retriever for nature than a setter.
She is house trained, walks well on the lead, sleeps through the night in her crate. She has quickly learned to ignore the sheep in the field next door and the hens in the hen run. She could live with a bold cat. There have been no issues with the other 5 dogs in the foster home.
She needs an experienced home with a confident, playful dog, where she can continue her socialisation and education. Vaccinated, passported, chipped, neutered. Rescue backup is through Settusfree.
