Cleo – 2 year old female Belgian Shepherd Cross

Cleo is a 2 year old female Belgian Shepherd Cross with amazing eyes. Telumas is a group whose volunteer mission focuses in rescuing dogs from a pound in Galicia, Spain. But sometimes we found ourselves in other situations like it happened with Cleo. She was not in the pound, she run into a road one morning when one of us was on her way to work. From the first second Cleo wanted to be helped, she got in the car and stayed calmed in the car boot until she could be taken home.

Cleo is a young female that is full of life, she is gentle, social, playful and very affectionate. She can live with other dogs and she ignores cats. She walks well on the leash. Cleo was neutered and blood analysis, biochemical and protein tests were done to her. She is positive in leishmaniasis, but with very low levels. All her values are good and her organs perfect. The disease is NOT ACTIVE, she just needs to have allopurinol.

We know that this disease scares potential adopters, but it should not be an impediment for her to have a home and a family. The person who writes this has two dogs with leishmaniasis and their needs are the same as the ones of the other dogs. Telumas offers continuous advice and help in this situations, so that the disease does not stop any possible adopter.

Cleo is lovely. She is a very noble dog and we are willing to see her soon with a family that gives her a lot of love and affection.
