Buster is a 1 year old male Jura Hound Cross. Buster was rescued in Cyprus. He is currently living with his family in Ipswich. He now needs to find a new forever home as it is not working out between him and the resident dog. Buster is a very sweet young dog. He loves cuddles and playing chase. He attempts fetch, but then wants the ball for himself! He walks well on the lead, but his recall will require more help from his new family. He loves to follow his hound instinct.
Buster adores his food. He does search the house for food but listens well when told to leave. Buster can be protective of his food with other dogs and will steal food from other dogs. But with people he is happy to give anything up. Food definitely helps with his training. Buster is great with dogs; he will whine to greet them and loves to play.
Buster is also great with kids of all ages and adults too. However, he will chase the chickens in his current home but we are unsure about cats as there are none in his current home. Buster is fully house trained and crate trained. He loves his crate during the day, and he sleeps perfectly during the night in his crate.
Buster can be left alone for long periods of time; he doesn’t bark or get stressed at all.
Buster would love a busy home with a large garden and lots of walks to sniff about. But he is also very calm and is happy to cuddle and sleep all day if required. Buster does need some more work with recall training and some basic commands, but he really enjoys the work and attention from his human and is eager to learn.
If you can offer him a loving forever home, with a safe garden to play in please contact us. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Minimum adoption donation £275. ADOPTION IS SUBJECT TO HOME CHECK. Post adoption and foster support is available from our charity.
