Meet Woody, an approx 2 year old male Collie Cross, who was rescued from the horrors of a meat farm in Chengdu, China, and is now in the UK with us. He arrived with another Collie – Woody – (who we believe may be his brother). During his ordeal, Woody sadly lost part of his eye which we are now going to treat once he has settled a little, and vets assure us he will manage fine with one eye.
We are ideally be looking for a semi-rural location, with direct access to a garden, plus someone who has owned or had experience with Collies or working breeds in the past, and is able to reassure him the world is a safe and friendly place.
Please note that dogs that come in from meat farms can be quite traumatised and broken, so ideally we are looking for a quiet and settled home, with no children under the age of 14 years (no cats please).
