Teddy is believed to be around 10 years old and is small medium in size and in foster near Glasgow. He came into our rescue when his adopter could no longer cope with the number of animals she had and a well known rescue had kindly offered to take him away and euthanise him! We were told that he had a myriad if illnesses and that he was blind. He hasn’t and he isn’t!
Teddy has been to our vets and had a full MOT and full blood tests and he is in perfect health apart from a slight heart murmur which does not require any medication. His eyes are very cloudy but the vet thinks this is scaring from past ulcers and his sight is fine.
Teddy is a real snuggle monkey and loves to cuddle more than anything else in the world. He walks nicely on a lead, is clean in the house and is great (if a little nervous) around the other dogs.
He does not bat an eyelid at the cats and in fact the only thing he does not like is to be picked up and unless you get him in the exact position will scream like you are killing him so I cannot imagine what has happened to him in the past. But like I say he is great on a lead so is very easy to manoeuvre.
