Rolo – 6 year old male Chihuahua

Rolo is a 6 year old male Chihuahua. Rolo has come to us as he was being left for long periods. When he arrived with us Rolo was found to have a grade 5 heart murmur which was not being treated, he was not symptomatic but we have now started him on medication to prevent further deterioration of his heart and he is doing well. We will be happy to discuss his medication and costs with serious applicants. Rolo has also been neutered and had a full dental as his teeth were in very poor condition. They are now shiny and new and having good oral hygiene will also help maintain his heart. Despite his murmur he coped well with the surgeries and has had no complications post operatively.

He is a sweet little lad, a little nervous of new people initially but he soon settles and in his fosters words “he is a dream!” Rolo is clean in the house and travels well in the car. He has been to the pub and was very well behaved, a model pooch in fact.

Rolo takes his medication well and loves his food. He enjoys his walks and is social withl other dogs. He sleeps well overnight without a sound. Rolo loves company and snuggles, he is a typical chihuahua who loves comfort lots of cushions and blankets. He is a proper little prince who will make a wonderful companion.

He would like new owners who are around for most of the day and who have the time for lots of cuddles, he would be fine to be re homed with another similar sized dog but was equally happy as an only dog. As Rolo is initially a little nervous older teenagers only, visiting grandchildren would be fine provided Rolo is allowed time to relax.

A quieter home would suit this lad so long as he is fully included, like most chihuahua’s he loves his human company. Rolo has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and is up to date with flea and worming treatment. He is currently being fostered in Hertford.
