Ocsi – 10 month old male Cross-Breed

Ocsi is a 10 month old small size mix breed boy who was saved from a pound where he was taken after being found wandering the streets of rural Hungary. He was microchipped and had an owner but sadly they did not want him back… what a shame for such a lovely dog to be thrown away at such a young age! He spent about 2 months at the pound and now lives in foster care with another male doggie.

Ocsi is very much a people’s dog who loves humans and likes being around you whenever he can. He is easy to handle as he is cooperating nicely. He is a real sweet, cuddly boy who is not difficult to handle as he very much wants to please you. He is also quite an active boy who is hard to take a photo of because he is all around the place! He is friendly and sociable with other dogs, males and females alike and likes to play with them too. But if he had to choose between canine and human company, he would probably pick the latter.

He is currently being kept outside in a large garden with another male doggie and he is only let into the house occasionally. He is clean in the house for short periods but he may need some housetraining once rehomed. He has not shown any interest in cats when tested but we’re unsure whether he’s ever lived with them. He walks nicely on the lead and travels well in the car. He was tested dirofilaria positive which he is receiving treatment for and this will need to be continued after he’s rehomed.

Ocsi would be best suited with a family without or with children over 6 where he is not left alone for long periods of time and can spend precious time with his family. He is still very young so his training and socialisation will need to be continued. He could live with a friendly dog with no problem, but he would be equally happy living with his humans to care for him only.

Ocsi is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family is found for him. He comes fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork.

Adoption is subject to Home Check and Adoption fee.
