Nina – 3 year old female Terrier Cross

Nina is possibly Patterdale Terrier Cross of about 3 years old. Most people scroll past Nina because she is black and boring-looking; they are really missing out because she has absolutely the sweetest nature. Nina – fostered in Kings Lynn (FR048). Nina’s mother is a Romanian street-dog, but Nina and her siblings were caught as puppies and taken to the safety of a private shelter.

Her siblings all found homes but, sadly, Nina has always been overlooked. Nina spent her puppyhood and adolescence in the shelter, leaving her under-socialized and under-confident with humans and new situations. The shelter did give her the advantage of being well-socialized with other dogs and she is calm around my pack as well as with unfamiliar dogs. She is happily living in a busy foster-home with cats, dogs, older children and frequent visitors. She comes when she’s called, loves her treats, walks beautifully on the lead, and really enjoys sniffing everything on walks.

We are looking for a Norfolk based home for Nina, with another dog to give her confidence and to help her understand humans. In any new home, she will be under-confident at first. But with time, patience and understanding she will show her loving nature and will be a fantastic companion for someone who values temperament over looks. If you are interested please call or message between 9am and 6pm.
