Negu and Lan are 3-4 year old male English Setters. Negu (tricolour) aged 3 and Lan (orange and white) aged 4 belonged to a hunter in the Basque country. We’re told he decided they weren’t good enough workers and was going to kill them as a punishment.
A girl living nearby found out and negotiated with him to let her save them. She says they are wonderful, loving, cuddly dogs who adore people.
They’re in a shelter with other dogs and get on very well with other dogs too. Lan is the bolder, bouncier one and Negu us quieter and a little more timid but getting more and more confident as time goes on.
They can be rehomed separately but they adore each other and it would be wonderful if they could go to a new home together.
