Nancy is a four year old small to medium sized Cross-Breed. This poor girl has had a life of sufference. She was surviving on the streets in Romania, struggling to get by with continual cycles of pregnancy and puppy rearing. Living on her wits and surviving on scraps until one day her fate was sealed by one final cruel act when a “human” attacked her and kicked her so hard in the neck she has been left with a permanent head tilt. It is only slight but it is a permanent reminder that she has had it tough. Nancy fostered in Feltham (fr080).
These days she is safe and well fed and she will be hurt again only over our dead bodies. She is understandably hand shy and submissive but simply speaking softly to her and taking the time to show her that shes safe and gaining her trust just leaves you feeling lucky to be near her.
Nancy needs an extra special home. Priority is finding her somewhere she can find peace and relaxation. She can live with other dogs but only if they too are quiet and gentle. We do not want her to go to a hectic or noisy environment.
