Dog Handling Tips: Louis – 9 year old male Cross-Breed

Louis is an incredibly beautiful and loveable older dog, aged about 9, who has spent many years at a shelter in Romania with no prospect of any future until he arrived with us. He is an absolute darling. A real gentleman, who will want nothing more than a lovely retirement home. He is good with people and dogs alike, and will enjoy a home on his own or with older dogs. We would not place him with boisterous young dogs or any children, mainly because at his age we are looking for a quieter setting.

Louis does need to be on medication for life as he has some function issues with his gastric motility. This is the system which ensures that food passes through the digestive system. In his case, the system is not functioning anymore and he has to be on medication for it, otherwise it stays in his gut is left undigested. All details on costs will be discussed with anyone interested in offering this loving dog a home.

Louis has waited a long time at a chance to find happiness, he is such a lovely dog, we hope someone will come for him.
