Lexi is a 2-3 year old female Miniature Dachshund. Lexi is a lovely little girl who is looking for a new home through no fault of her own. She is a little nervous initially but she bonds very quickly and becomes very attached to her humans. Care will need to be taken with Lexi to ensure that she does not over bond and develop separation anxiety. For this reason she would be best homed with a couple rather than single occupancy homes.
She is for the most part house trained but a few accidents should be expected initially whilst she settles in. Lexi is fine with other dogs but her overriding pleasure in life is her human companion, she would be best re homed with at least one other similar sized resident dog as she does like to cuddle up with them.
Lexi took no notice of cats so could be re homed with dog savvy cats, she traveled well in the car (crated) and was both clean and quiet. She really is a lovely little girl who will blossom in the right home. Lexi has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and is up to date with flea and worming treatment. She is currently being fostered in Feltham Middlesex.
