Courtney is a 4 year old female Bichon Frise. Courtney has come to us as she is no longer required for breeding. She has little knowledge of life in the home and is understandably a nervous girl. She will need new owners who are around for most of the day and who are used to nervous dogs. Courtney must be re homed with at least one other resident dog of a similar size.
She is learning all about life in the home and is doing well, her house training is a work in progress but she is improving. Ideally a home without young children and a quieter environment would be best for her. Courtney will take time to adjust so patience and understanding will be needed by her new owners. Courtney is still terrified of most things and will need an experienced new owner used to either ex breeding dogs or very fearful nervous dogs.
Currently Courtney is not walking on lead, her foster continues to work on this with her but new owners must understand that she will require patience and dedication to enable her to become a happy trusting companion. We are looking for people who can show empathy to these dogs and bring them forward so that they can learn to trust and enjoy life. Ex breeding dogs are fiercely loyal and devoted once they have placed heir trust with you.
Courtney has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and is up to date with flea and worming treatment. She has also had a full dental. Courtney is currently being fostered in Woking Surrey.
