Charlie – 10 year old male English Setter

Charlie is a 10 year old English Setter. Great with cats! Please give this golden oldie a chance. He has been kept as a hunting dog but the lucky boy has been allowed to live in the house with his family.

This doesn’t happen often but it does mean that the poor thing now has to get used to living in a shelter at the age of 10 so it would be lovely to get him out soon. He has a cataract in one of his eyes, it doesn’t stop him, but he’s no good for hunting now.

He has a good hunting instinct but walks well on the lead (at the moment!). He’s good with children and all dogs. He’s very clean and doesn’t mess in his run at all, he waits until he goes outside.

He’s 35kg at the moment and needs to lose some weight as he is rather chubby!
